Trust & safety

Built to be safe for everyone.

A creator platform only works if creators and fans trust it. These are the rules we hold ourselves and our community to.

Adults only

You must be 18 or over to join, subscribe or earn on FanSee.

No adult content

Sexually explicit material is banned. There are no exceptions or special tiers.

Easy reporting

Every post, comment and profile has a Report button that goes to a human.

Clear consequences

Content is removed, accounts are suspended, and serious cases go to the authorities.

Content policy

You can post original work you own the rights to. You can't post, link to or promote:

  • Sexually explicit content — including nudity shown for sexual purposes, pornography and sexual services.
  • Anything that sexualises or endangers children. This is reported to the police and the Internet Watch Foundation immediately.
  • Illegal content — including terrorism, fraud, threats, stalking, or content that promotes or incites hatred or violence.
  • Harassment, doxxing or targeted abuse of any person.
  • Impersonation, scams and spam, including misleading offers and fake giveaways.
  • Content you don't have the right to share, such as other people's work or private images.
  • Dangerous misinformation or self-harm promotion. Supportive, safe discussion of difficult topics is welcome.

How reporting works

  1. Click Report on a post, comment or creator page and choose a reason.
  2. Our team reviews the report. Reports about illegal content or child safety are reviewed first.
  3. If the content breaks our rules we hide or remove it and may suspend the account. If it doesn't, we close the report.

Creators can also delete comments on their own posts at any time.

Appeals and complaints

If your content was removed or your account suspended and you think we got it wrong, email safety@fansee-app.com with the details. A different team member will review your appeal and reply with a reason for the outcome.

Our approach to UK online safety law

FanSee is a user-to-user service and is designed with the UK Online Safety Act 2023 in mind. We are committed to:

  • maintaining an illegal-content risk assessment and keeping it up to date as the product grows;
  • providing clear, accessible reporting and complaints tools, and acting on them promptly;
  • enforcing terms of service consistently and explaining our decisions;
  • restricting access to adults only and prohibiting content that would require pornography-level age checks;
  • cooperating lawfully with the police and regulators.
