Your first 30 days as a creator
A simple plan to go from an empty page to your first paying members.
Week 1: set up
- Pick a handle you can use everywhere.
- Write a tagline that says who it's for, not just what you do.
- Create one tier and describe what a member gets in a sentence.
Week 2: publish three posts
Make two free and one members-only. The free posts show people what you're like; the members post shows what they'd get.
Week 3: invite your first 20
Message the people who already say nice things about your work. Be specific: 'I've opened a page where members get X. Would you want to be one of the first?' Personal invitations beat broadcasts.
Week 4: build a rhythm
Pick a cadence you can keep — weekly or fortnightly — and tell members what it is. Consistency, not volume, is what keeps people subscribed.
